Q & A with Ryon Bornemeier

April 11th, 2012 by

Ryon Bornemeier is a finance manager at Perfection on Academy, who has been with the Perfection team since the summer of 2011.

What is your role at Perfection on Academy?

I am a finance manager. My job consists of helping customers secure funding for their vehicle purchase, assisting customers in completing their paperwork, and offering other finance products and services to help maintain and protect their vehicle.

Where are you from?

I was born and raised in Nebraska, but ended up in Albuquerque by way of Denver, CO, in 2011.

As a relatively new transplant to Albuquerque, have you settled on Red or Green yet?

Definitely green.

And I know you’re a big football fan. Have you switched allegiance to the Lobos, or are you still a Nebraska Cornhuskers fan?

For basketball, I’ve started following the Lobos. They’re a fun team to watch, and I appreciate the unique basketball atmosphere in this town, especially watching games at the Pit. In football, I’ll always be a big supporter of the Huskers, and can’t see that changing. But I am optimistic about the new Lobos football coach – hopefully he’ll get the team back on track.

What was your first car?

An ’83 Honda Accord hatchback, charcoal gray. I got it used with about 60,000 miles on it, and drove it for 6 years. I might still be driving it to this day, but unfortunately it was totaled in an accident.

What’s your dream car? And Why? Non-honda answers are acceptable, but discouraged…

’73 Bronco Sport. I always wanted one growing up. You could take the top off. They looked great with some beefy tires. And it had a roll bar, in case you flipped it over – a nice safety touch.

And what’s your favorite Honda, besided the ’83 Accord Hatchback?

I’d have to go with the 2011 Honda Odyssey, because it hauls around my wife and kid in style. It’s a great, safe, soccer-mom mini-van for our family.

Anything else?

Go Big Red!

Thanks Ryon!
